πŸŽ₯ "Avoiding the possibility that people were going to judge me"
It's easy to procrastinate making videos. This video is a little kick in the butt, I found useful 😁 And here are some other quotes I liked in this video: "...you teach your brain that this situation is a threat". "I created that anxiety by avoiding it..." "Try to feel good at feeling bad." "Fail yourself to success" "Take imperfect action every day"

πŸŽ₯ You can think in silence when recording your videos.
Today on a call, we were talking about how "umms" and "uhhs" in videos can be okay, if done with moderation. And also that instead of saying something like "right?" or "yeah" (or any other filler you use to give you time to think) you can actually say nothing. And usually the pause you make will come out much shorter than you think (you can see this after you actually watch your video). Of course we're not Steve Jobs, but check out how long he gives himself to think before he actually answers a question.

πŸ’‘ When you email blast a post with a poll... βœ‰οΈ
Your members get the post with a button saying "VOTE NOW". Pretty neat. Here's an email I got from @Patrice Simoneau for his Bees community (if you're into honey, it's the place to 🐝).

Skool drips like notifications 🀫
Just in case you haven't noticed. Skool drips your like notifications, so that you don't get them all at the same time. I don't know the algorithm, but I know sometimes they send me the likes in a delayed manner. They try to keep us hooked that way (we get old likes that look like someone just liked something) πŸ€ͺ

πŸ’‘YouTube shorts will be up to 3 minutes
TL;DW (AI summary) Content Strategy and Audience Engagement πŸŽ₯YouTube Shorts can now be up to 3 minutes long, offering creators more flexibility for storytelling and the ability to upload vertical videos up to 2:59 without affecting long-form content experience. πŸ‘₯Shorts and long-form videos have completely different audiences with minimal crossover, as 80% of viewers who watch videos on the Think Media Podcast Channel don't watch Shorts, indicating a wider audience gap. Monetization and Copyright πŸ’°YouTube Shorts monetization continues to be crucial, with longer Shorts now counting towards YouTube Partner Program requirements (1,000 subs and 10M views in 90 days). 🚫Copyrighted content over 60 seconds will be blocked from playback and recommendations, while third-party claimed content over 1 minute with an active content ID claim will be globally blocked and ineligible for monetization. Platform Features and Updates πŸ”YouTube is introducing AI features like Vevo for video backgrounds, trending pages for discovering hot content, and customization options to toggle Shorts in subscriptions, addressing creator requests for improved content discovery and management.
