Quick reminder - be nice to the robots 🤖
I like to say thank you and please when talking to AI. 1. Just in case 2. If I get used to not being nice to AI, I think it can trickle down to interactions with humans 🤪 Oh, and be careful when joking with AI, you never know... 😉

Oh wow! I told Chat I loved it once and it told me that back. When you need a pick me up…

@Marcin Hakemer-Fernandez oh I said more …
🎥 You can think in silence when recording your videos.
Today on a call, we were talking about how "umms" and "uhhs" in videos can be okay, if done with moderation. And also that instead of saying something like "right?" or "yeah" (or any other filler you use to give you time to think) you can actually say nothing. And usually the pause you make will come out much shorter than you think (you can see this after you actually watch your video). Of course we're not Steve Jobs, but check out how long he gives himself to think before he actually answers a question.

I was on a zoom this week where the host clearly couldn’t handle the silence. She was recording and I was the only other person on the call. She would say “Faith what do you think” then quickly answer or keep talking without providing the space for me to answer. It was awkward.

@Marcin Hakemer-Fernandez well it definitely taught me some things. I hope it will help her too.
Anyone into public speaking?
Do you guys like speaking to a live audience? I was talking with Nivas from Skool support on a live chat, and while discussing GDPR (I did a lot of GDPR compliancy video for MailerLite) I found this presentation I gave 6 years ago. Do you guys like public speaking? If you have a recording drop it in the comments! I'll drop the one I found yesterday (yes, the camera man did a bad job) 😂

@Marcin Hakemer-Fernandez you can’t get photos when you’re telling kids to put away the phone…. 😝

@Marcin Hakemer-Fernandez my favorite… I love tutoring math. I loved teaching recovery in prison. I loved teaching personal development for freshmen in high school. I like teaching college readiness to seniors.
✅ Anyone up for some free community building training?
So... I'm looking for more volunteers 😁 I've worked with dozens of you fine folks to get my first training up to a satisfactory level. The training is made to help you attract the right community members (and educate them while you're at it). It's the most natural way I know of getting peoples attention, interest, and buy in. In this training you'll learn the first skill of effective community builders. I believe this is the most important skill of the three, and will be used throughout all the other trainings. I'll say more in some upcoming videos. But I just wanted to get a feel for the room for now. (This is also for people who volunteered before, and worked with me one-on-one.) So what do you say. Are you in?

@Siobhan Treacy cold water is also way wetter than warm.
🙏 I need help with naming the first part of my educational framework
I will soon publish a part of my framework in the Classroom. It will consist of three parts: - Naturally Attracting Members - Creating Human Friendly Training - Creating a Success Path for Members I need a name for that first part. The name for the worksheet that wouldn't sound cringe and that would work in a sentence like: Have you filled out your "X" worksheet, yet? I also would like it to sound more natural, and human. So I'd like to avoid words like: Pitch, Sales etc. But maybe that's the way to go. I was thinking of something along the lines of: Organic Invitation Organic Member Irresistible Invitation I like the vibe in these, but I'm not sure I like the sound of the words, and how they would work in a sentence. Any ideas? Thank you @Joe DeFilippo (for your ideas in the post I did in another community) Some of Joe's ideas: Member Magnet Client Catcher Customer Connector I'll probably keep changing the name 😅 But I'm a bit desperate and would like to stop thinking about this for now at least 😂 Please help! 🙏

Like bees 🐝 to a daisy 🌼 I already know that won’t be chosen. But that is the level of attraction.
