Learning on Kaggle

I finished Andrew Ng's Machine Learning course and planning to practise on Kaggle's by studying those competition-winning kernels. But, there are just too many competitions there, I really have no idea to start. I wonder if there is some sort of roadmap or guideline? Or anyone can share experience of using Kaggle here?
