Newest Scam Goes Beyond "Just" Cold DMs
To prevent Skool.com from being tarnished by increasing numbers of Spam and other Less-than-wonderful schemes, these characters (two sample screenshots attached) and many similar ones should be brought to Ted's and maybe Sam Ovens' attention to be eliminated ASAP before damaging the entire platform's reputation. They are starting what appears to be fake groups like this one https://www.skool.com/leanna-chhoun-8937/about all over Skool.com as a whole, apparently trying to build or nourish some pyramid schemes or claiming they know "great trading methods" and what not. Also interesting to see these jokers are indiscriminately connecting-up with multiple shiploads of users within under a week after joining the Skool platform; but then suddenly not willing to communicate with more DMs or Follow-features on here (but preferring Text and WhatsApp). Plus, almost nobody wants to follow them back: only a handful despite their own multi-thousands of "Followings". Very weird.
Anyway, looks to me like those profiles and "groups" aren't being set up for any real purpose.
I can see from some of the Wall-of-Shame entries that this should "look familiar" to many other group members in here too...
Currently "applying" to one of those shady "groups" to find out more. Will keep updating this post as soon as I can gather more details.
