Done is Better Than Perfect
Perfectionism is one of the biggest obstacles to progress. We convince ourselves that we need the perfect plan, the perfect timing, or perfect skills to start—but the truth is, waiting for perfect leads to nothing at all. Here’s why you need to embrace “done” over perfect:
  • Action creates momentum: The hardest part is starting. Imperfect action gets the ball rolling and builds confidence as you go.
  • Perfection wastes time: The extra time spent chasing flawless outcomes rarely changes the result. Start, learn, and improve later.
  • Progress > Overthinking: Every step forward, no matter how small, moves you closer to your goals.
The next time you feel stuck, ask yourself: Is this “perfect” worth the delay? More often than not, taking action now beats waiting for the perfect moment. Progress is messy—but progress is everything.
