The hidden addiction keeping you broke

If you know me already, then you know I’ve paid off well over 500K of bad debts.

For most of my adult life, I was the slave to debt and debt was my master.

I remember calculating my monthly payments and it was well over 5K per month!

No wonder why no matter how much money I made, I never felt FREE.

It was only when I realised, the debt wasn’t the problem, my ADDICTION to debt was.

Sure enough, you might not have debts, but I can almost guarantee the same principle applies (especially if you’re still reading now).

SO HOW DO WE BREAK THE CHAINS OF BEING BROKE (OR DEBT)?

We realise one thing.

Everything comes back to the STORY we share.

If you’re broke or in debt, congratulations, you’re a human being haha.

Mckay Jenkins describes ‘the contamination story’ which is a story that starts good but ends badly.

I was always so positive as a kid, but my parents put so much pressure on me I lost my shine
I used to make money so easily, but in 2012 I took a loan and it was the biggest mistake of my life

Contamination stories are at the root of every villain in the movie.

Their life was PERFECT, something bad happened to them, now they are ADDICTED to their pain

I appreciate this goes deep, but we MUST get to the root if we’re going to transform.

And I’m relatively certain, you have an amazing gift to share with the world.

I’ve alluded to mine today.

I used to be ADDICTED to my contamination story, I shared it with everyone who would listen.

But.

Through shifting my perspective, healing on a deep level, I was able to transform myself.

Before the DEBT disappeared, I noticed:

I stopped worrying about money (even when I was hundreds of thousands in debt)
I realised my bank account was lying to me (it has ZERO impact on who I am as a person)
I became the man I was afraid to become (this one point alone goes deep)

This empowered me to clear my debts, earn more effortlessly and easily than ever before.

Believe it or not, this is the deep work I do with my clients and always have done.

I don’t shout about it on social media, because in all honesty it’s a weird flex.

But my clients know and it’s why they’re able to transform on such a profound level.
