New Discovery algorithm update

Now we show the top 5 groups from every category on the homepage in random order. This gives groups from all categories a better chance of being discovered. Plus it's more fun. We used to rank all groups globally, now we rank them per category. We tried a new algorithm, but as many of you pointed out, it wasn't very good. We reverted to the original algorithm. Thank you for your feedback. Our intention is to make things better, and we did, but we had to make things worse for 24h to get there. Sorry about that. More detail in the video. Enjoy!

🌙 Dark Mode for the Win! Why Isn’t This Default? 🤔

If you’re like me and spend hours a day on Skool, let me tell you, dark mode is an absolute game-changer! 😍 But seriously, why isn’t it set by default? It took me weeks (yes, weeks) to figure out how to switch over! 😂 Now that I’ve made the change, it’s like my eyes have been blessed. 🌟 Skool is sleek, easy on the eyes, and feels like a whole new world. For anyone who hasn’t switched yet, do it NOW. Your eyeballs will thank you. 👀

Embed HTML in courses?

I'm a language teacher, and I'd love to be able to integrate HTML-based exercises in my courses. The community features in Skool are great, as well as the calendar view for upcoming meetings (live classes in my case), but the course creation is very limited compared to other alternatives like LearnWorlds or Thinkific. It would be nice to be able to integrate HTML directly into the course modules. Personally I use H5P for interactive, self-correcting exercises, but this could be used for all sorts of other widgets. Would be great to see this feature in the pipeline! 🙂
