Seeking Advice on Structuring Free vs. Paid Communities for a Hyper-Niche Craft Audience (Roman Mosaics, 2nd BC - 6th AD)
I was on the Skool onboarding call recently and I see the sense in going free for my community but here's my question:
I'm in a real niche of a niche of a niche of a niche (craft - making mosaics - copying Roman mosaics - 2nd BC - 6th AD) been on it 20 years, the way this rolls is there are no advanced courses, I have one foundation one plus another on drawing the patterns (plus a bunch of subsections for mini courses).
Having another, paid community would be repeating the same thing, it's all fundamentals. So, I monetise the implementation, personal guidance from me , 1-2-1 or 1-2-many on zoom.
Q. What do you think if I have my free group but then have a group within that community that have paid a fixed amount to get them. I would have no MRR, just the upsell.
If I have another paid community for that MRR then questions they ask there would be relevant to all my community and I'd feel I need to keep repeating the answers to my free community. I hope this makes sense!
