***PLEASE HELP****
Hello Skool community! My name is Dawn, I am new on this platform. I’m in the process of creating my first course on how to recover from anxiety, and I’d really value your input. Can you give me advice or suggestions that could help make the course as effective and impactful as possible?
Those of you who are managing your anxiety, what types of tools or strategies have you found most effective in managing anxiety, and would like to see those included in a course?
For those who are struggling and don’t have an active plan on managing your anxiety, what questions do you have regarding your struggles?
Example questions: Can anxiety go away on its own or do I need treatment?
Are there any lifestyle changes I can make to help with my anxiety?
I appreciate your time in reading this post. Or if you can refer someone to me that will be great.
Thank again,
Dawn

Thank you Luke. Yes, I speak to so many who are suffering from it. They’re some great tools out there that just need to be implemented. And consistency is the key

Hi Dawn, welcome to skool. I just joined today as well, my community is called Online Dating Success, check it out when you can.
The most effective tool that has worked for me when dealing with my anxiety is deep breathing exercises and daily morning meditation outside in the morning sun.. ☀️ Hope that helps

I wouldn’t overthink it. Just focus on providing as much value as possible based on your expertise. Focus on getting people engaged as much as possible so a lot of interactive stuff that will get your group interested and promoting healthy exchanges.
Good luck!
I know it will do great!!

Hi I've been helping course creators to design, launch and sell their courses for many years and my top tip is to always sell the course before you make/built it.
That aside, asking for questions related to potential buyers from big groups (who are not your target buyers) never works. Get clear on your messaging, sell to those people, then "make/build" the course! (Eg - don't ask us as we are not that person)

+1 on the "selling before you build"! I've been doing it for years as well and I find it's more motivating to build once you have sales. And I prefer to channel the content live, it always turns out better then when I try to sit alone in front of the camera to record a module.

Hi Dawn! I found cognitive behavioural therapy and gradual exposure to be highly effective. I used these strategies regularly with students presenting with anxiety when I was a teacher. They have a high success rate and are easy to tailor to the individual at their pace. Hope this helps!😊
