👇🏻 Which would you prefer?! Slower growth to 10k or an overnight success 10k?!
Let’s chat about it together… cause while you think it would be utterly amazing, you might be missing a few thing you want to consider.
💭 If you aren’t ready to hold that 10k even if you are an overnight success, it may slip through your fingers like water out of a leaky bucket.
It’s easy to view someone seemingly having overnight success and go man, I wish I could do that… but if you knew what that person walked through to get to that result for years prior maybe you might change your tune.
⚔️ Oftentimes, those overnight successes have come after years of trial and error, moments of wondering where the next dollar is coming from to living comfortably and back again.
Hard choices and saying no to things that most wouldn’t want to give up. The refining fire that entrepreneurship brings, the inner work which many don’t even know is what happens to expand the growth edges to be able to have and hold that expansion of energy/wealth.
An easy example for me to give is many say “I wish I had land, garden and animals, that’s the dream life!” But, is it?
🌱 Cause it’s commitment, weeding the garden on 90 degree days, making sure it’s watered when it hasn’t rained which then means more weeds, and then doing something with the harvest so it doesn’t rot on your kitchen table.
🐔 Those animals? They need fed, watered, and cared for in the dead of winter in a blizzard, even if it’s rained for 5 days straight, and then medical attention regardless of your plans or if you are feeling under the weather.
☕️ More land may mean you have to move out of the city/suburbia, which means longer drives to get to decent grocery stores and restaurants, Amazon doesn’t deliver in 2 days, there are no coffee shops, and some days the internet is shit cause starlink may not be available in your area yet.
Things don’t go the way you hope all the time, animals fight or are taken by predators, your garden could get some weird infestation or die from drought, and it’s just a very different lifestyle than most which can leave you feeling like the odd one out.
So, many that start this sort of lifestyle end up giving up because of unrealistic expectations and when push comes to shove they choose to shove on back to the “easier” lifestyle.
🔥 Same can be said for entrepreneurship. You want to be an overnight success from nothing?
Think about how hard it’s been thus far, if you remove the journey and slower growth would you really want all of that internal personal growth to happen in one fell swoop instead of over time… most wouldn’t be able to deal or stay sane, hence why for many it’s a slower process.
That doesn’t mean you won’t reach your goals or make those numbers, it might just be a more gentle process needed to get you there and have it stick and be able to be multiplied from there 😉 share your thoughts and let’s chat!
