Before, people would join, and I'd never hear from them a single word no matter how hard I tried to engage with them.
Implemented those and engagement went up!
- Added one extra step to my nurture flow:
Before: Flow starts 15 min after someone joins, I'm shooting an email with all perks and stuff inside the community (they probably aren't accepted so the links don't work leading them to nothing.
After: Flow starts immediately, I've recorded a short video outlining what they should expect and which steps they must take when Ill accept them (pumping them up). The next email after 10 hours is the "before" email with now working links.
2. Qualification questions:
Before: asked only for email, accepted everyone
After: added more questions, asking about the reason for joining (so I'll have a reason to reach out, thanks to.
3. Welcome post:
I've created valuable and fun welcome post, value is for them to consume and fun to engage, (e.g. - comment on your favorite pizza topping, members replying to others with their favorites, or how "friendly discussed" they are) I DMed every member no matter how long they've in the community to comment under the post.
[also I am trying something new, I'm giving access to a course earlier for those who are replying to other members --> "look for a comment with a pizza topping you'll love to share and let the other member know it, pizza partyyy!"]
What have you done to boost the engagement of new members inside your community?
