Castor oil purge + neti with urine?

I did the castor oil purge last night (I understand why the orange juice now!) and the following hours were really painful. I did not expect so much painful cramping! I could not sleep until 3am and developed flu symptoms. Is that common?

My other question is that my sinuses are both congested and somehow dry, like at the beginning of a cold/flu. I tried to snort urine but it burned a lot. Is it better to do neti with urine or the traditional saline solution?
