Following recommendations from post on self-tapes we added the following to our existing “studio”:
We already use a NEEWER selfie light (but just ordered a bigger one the MFL-06 Pocket-Size Video Light to see if we can eliminate the ring light), a NEEWR Smartphone video rig, and a Rode VideoMicro Microphone. We use an iPhone 13/14 but have ordered a Moment M Series Telephoto 58mm lens to improve the framing. This is what it looked like last night with what we have and the new background and lights.
I also wanted to add that we tried two shades of blue and one of gray before deciding on the bottom blue as best for her skin tone. It has definitely improved the clarity, quality, and shadows.
