How do I get ChatGPT to wait with giving me back output until I say so?

I'm trying to feed ChatGPT with raw text that exceeds the character limit of the text field. I'm trying to get it to simply respond with "Received." after every dump until I'm done with all of them. But it keeps ignoring me and starts writing.

Here is the part of the prompt that deals with waiting: "Please acknowledge each text dump with the response 'Received.' without generating any output. Wait to generate the output until all text dumps are received. The prompt to generate the output will be 'write the text now'."
