Dear CFD enthusiast, I worked on the turbine problem, where I achieved my pressure drop vs flow rate curve, which is propositionally varying (fig. attached). When I simulate the fan, its performance curve shows that it is inversely proportional to the flow rate. I understand the foundations. But my question is how to calculate the fan performance curve (static pressure vs. flow rate). Regarding the radiator (now I'm working on it) fan, how do I calculate the static pressure measurement ( Ps= Pt-Pd) Ps- static pressure, Pt-total pressure, and Pd = dynamic pressure. Is it right way to calculate?. If I follow this approach, I end up with the same curve as the turbine curve. What did I miss here? If you have any reference documents for radiator fan simulation, please share them here.
