Pork Shoulder Roast
Recipe
Ingredients:
  • 3-4 lbs pork shoulder (bone-in or boneless)
  • 2 tbsp pork lard or tallow
  • Salt to taste
Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Rub the pork shoulder with salt all over.
  3. Heat lard in a large skillet and sear the pork shoulder on all sides until golden brown.
  4. Transfer to a roasting pan and cook in the oven for 4-5 hours, or until the meat is tender and falls apart.
  5. Shred the pork and serve with its own juices.
