Challenged
This doesn’t have anything to do with branding. But hear me out.
My son is 11 and he’s pretty darn good at drawing. I wanted him to get better at drawing and asked him if he’d like to take a class.
He did, but not by himself.
Well, I’m a designer, I like drawing, and I like spending time with him. So, I thought why not do it together. Being better at drawing can definitely help me being a better designer too.
So we’ve been going to drawing classes once a week together. 🥰
This week’s still life was the most difficult challenge yet.
But I’m really proud of our progress and how well these turned out (despite their obvious flaws.)
I’m very happy I stepped out of my comfort zone and took this class.
I’m not a huge risk taker (anymore), but I do love a good challenge.
How about you? How have you challenged yourself lately? And, more importantly, what do you do just for fun, just for yourself, without pursuing an important goal?
