New genetics from Terrestrial Fungi are growing beautifully - 4 master culture strains growing faster than expected. 2 strains (Mound 4 #4 bx2 #5, Mound4 bx7 - 49fz #8 x #6) are growing slowly but should be good to expand in a day or 2. Expanded LC: 6 1500ml Mason Jars inoculated 3 - Mound4 #4 bx7 #8 x mound4 bx4 #4 3 - SV #8p x mound4 bx4 #4 (silicone injection port fell off during LC withdrawal, contamination possible) Bins made: Hades 4212 # 1x2 - 12 bins (15 qt) 1100ml Spring Water 11d 10ml Harvest: 4 bins from 5/18 (H546 # 2x4) (waiting to upload fresh weight until all 9 bins are harvested) 5 bins from this date/strain to harvest tomorrow, as well as some hades bins from the same date. Will update fresh weights tomorrow and post dried weights on Thursday when the freeze dryer run is complete.

Harvest Results: Our yields from 7/5 finished processing in the freeze dryer and the final weights are as follows: H546 # 2x4 (5/16): 12 bins Fresh Weight: 1731g Dried Weight: 247g Weight Retention: 14.3% Hades 4212 # 1x2 (5/16): 12 bins (bottom of bin fruits) Fresh Weight: 1302g Dried Weight: 188g Weight Retention: 14.4% Hades 4212 # 1x2 (5/22) 2 bins Fresh Weight: 313g Dried Weight: 46g Weight Retention: 14.7% Master culture jars for our new genetics are progressing very nicely. First round of 6 expansion jars was prepared tonight for the first round of expanding of the new genetics tomorrow. Not certain what strains we will be starting with yet - but updates on that will be coming tomorrow.

Freeze dryer run still ongoing. Will be posting dried weights from yesterdays harvest tomorrow upon completion. Master LC for new genetics is growing nicely, should have bins of our new genetics up and running in the next 5-6 days after going from the master culture jars into the first round of expansion jars.

This resulted in smaller fruiting bodies due to the reduced space available. Surprisingly, the bins still produced very healthy/quality fruits.
