Let’s cut ties, Bro
"It's common to want change but not know how to achieve it. It's like stacking good ideas on top of poor habits, expecting a different outcome. Only to fall back into the same habits and results that cause anxiety.
Does it really make sense to stack or start new habits while you're already burdened with anxiety, the weight of social norms, relationships, finances, and functional depression?
Is journaling, going to the gym, or meditation really the key? They are great attributes for sure!
If a hot air balloon wants to get off the ground but is tethered down on all four corners, would it make more sense to get rid of each rope or chain before adding another, to allow the hot air balloon to level up and take off?
In short, what if we were to get rid of the old habits before adopting new ones? Maybe we can level up and take off beyond our imagination.
The Alpha is Back."
