Hey there! I got an advice to use realistic panning plugins like Vienna MIR to make the sound more real. Is anyone of you using it, is it worth the money? Are those kind of plugins really necessary for a realistic sound? And does anyone use an alternative, beacuse 750 Bucks for a panning plugin are atm too much to spend for me.

Hi all. This may be a rather simplistic question to you lot and may even require an RTFM response to me! 🤣 However; how do you get realistic sounding lyrics in your choir libraries? I use East West Symphonic and Hollywood choirs and 8Dio Lacrimosa, all of which have word builders. That said, I've never been able to create anything as convincing as some of the examples that I've heard on here, especially Alex's. Do you guys use the word builder to create actual words, or just the vowel / consonant sounds to approximate the sound of language? Is there a knack to this that I may be missing? Cheers all. 😊

I realize there's not a straight forward answer to this question, I'd just like to gauge how my fellow composers are going about their processes & what plugins they might or might not be using. Many of us are using sample libraries which are professionally mixed out of the box...I'm just wondering what types of signal chains people are using for their mixes & masters. Do you add plugins to the master channel? Do you bounce out your tracks & then master them, etc?
