One Happy Solar System Owner
In Dec 2022 I had a ground mount solar array, installed by Insight Solar, activated and connected to the local power grid, that is supplied by National Grid. Components: ● (30) Hanwha Q.Cells GmbH Q.PEAK DUO ML-G10 - 400 solar panels (peak 12 kWp) ● (2) SolarEdge LiPo batteries, totaling 19.8 KWh ● 10 KWh SolarEdge DC Inverter & Buoy ● With third-party Pearl Certification With NetMetering I currently have a +$522 credit and through ConnectedSolutions over $2K in payments and incentives, in 2023 alone. The only months that I don't overproduce are November, December and January, which is expected given the shorter days and lower angle of the sun, during winter. I haven't paid an electric bill since March 2023. To date the Lifetime Output is 16.1 MWh, with Consumption of 14.5 MWh. To say that I'm happy with this system is an understatement!! :D

Let’s welcome Bruce, Nicola, Susan, Cindy, Wilfred, Kathy, and Alonso. Welcome to the group! This is a safe place to share why you’re here, your current situation with your utility and your desired outcome. This group was built to be a supportive community to help others. Whether you already have solar or are totally new to exploring it, let’s learn and grow with each other. I will remain an active resource for everyone here, so you get free access to my support and advice indefinitely. Fun fact~ solar is the most abundant energy source on Earth. When life give you lemons…
