One Happy Solar System Owner
In Dec 2022 I had a ground mount solar array, installed by Insight Solar, activated and connected to the local power grid, that is supplied by National Grid. Components: ● (30) Hanwha Q.Cells GmbH Q.PEAK DUO ML-G10 - 400 solar panels (peak 12 kWp) ● (2) SolarEdge LiPo batteries, totaling 19.8 KWh ● 10 KWh SolarEdge DC Inverter & Buoy ● With third-party Pearl Certification With NetMetering I currently have a +$522 credit and through ConnectedSolutions over $2K in payments and incentives, in 2023 alone. The only months that I don't overproduce are November, December and January, which is expected given the shorter days and lower angle of the sun, during winter. I haven't paid an electric bill since March 2023. To date the Lifetime Output is 16.1 MWh, with Consumption of 14.5 MWh. To say that I'm happy with this system is an understatement!! :D

It was a pleasure working with you @Dave Ennulat What’s better is I feel like I gained a friend in the process. It’s good to know other renewable energy enthusiasts. 😁

Let’s welcome Bruce, Nicola, Susan, Cindy, Wilfred, Kathy, and Alonso. Welcome to the group! This is a safe place to share why you’re here, your current situation with your utility and your desired outcome. This group was built to be a supportive community to help others. Whether you already have solar or are totally new to exploring it, let’s learn and grow with each other. I will remain an active resource for everyone here, so you get free access to my support and advice indefinitely. Fun fact~ solar is the most abundant energy source on Earth. When life give you lemons…

You have to play to win ~ Risk vs Reward
Are you fed up with your high energy cost and want to do something about it, but just don’t know how? Watch to the end of this video to figure out what others are doing to finally take control of their electric bills. Have you ever thought about going solar but it seemed like too much of a hassle? Or maybe you started to look into it but got frustrated from dealing with high pressure sales reps? Plus all the bad and misleading information out there. You don’t know who is actually on your side or just trying to make money off you. I feel you… That’s why I’ve downloaded my 10 years of experience in this industry into creating free content and building a supportive community to help you learn about solar on your own leisure and reduce the risk of jumping in too soon. You can tap into an entire community that’s in the exact same boat as you. Lean on them for advice or guidance and learn how others have paved the way before us. Get lessons from people who learned the hard way and find out what NOT to do. I’ve helped hundreds of homeowners eliminate their energy cost after exhausting other methods to reduce their bill. Education is the most important part of the process Spend as much time as you need to feel confident before you talk to anyone. The last thing I want is to try and convince anybody to do anything. That’s not my style. I’m a collaborator. My passion is helping people exceed their potential goals and overcome any obstacles in the way. If you can’t win, I’m not interested. The unfortunate part is, only 1 out of 3 homes can even qualify. On top of that, even if you do qualify, the utility can still say no. It’s more common than you think. Watch this video to find out why the utilities could completely deny your application for solar.
