Hey legends, I'm Joel

I currently work as an underpaid content strategist at a marketing agency doing a little bit of everything. I love copywriting, video editing and am obsessed with personal branding (primarily on Linkedin).

The job I have right now doesn't offer me the problems that I want to solve, plus I think I could make more money on my own, doubling down on a set of profitable skills that I actually enjoy.

Naturally, I became interested in freelancing and set myself the goal to start taking on copywriting gigs on the side to eventually transition into full-time within the next 3 months.

Tomorrow, I will have my first client meeting with a business coach to discuss a content strategy for their Linkedin. Unfortunately, my rate will be relatively low, but I can use that experience to start building my portfolio with cases.

Aside from copywriting, I want to also dive deeper into e-mail marketing, funnel building and media buying.
