Who got their first client in the past few months?
I would like to see if anyone here has gained their first client in the past few months. I am planning on reaching out to businesses in the HVAC industry and have compiled a list of about 50 businesses in the area that have anywhere from 5-50 reviews on Google, but have 0-100 in monthly traffic. I've scoped all the sites and they have anything from no H1s to as much as five H1s, and several other things, but mostly very few pages indexed.
Let me give you my background and my experience on my current business. I am a solo musician/guitarist/singer AND a DJ. I've done hundreds of gigs, especially with wedding couples. When I do a wedding couple, they've already found ME. I'm sure that's helpful, but then I ask them a lot of questions about how they met, how long they've known each other, etc. Then, I go into their preferences on their music choices, and then go into logistics of the wedding. When I approach SEO clients, unless I have my site drawing in clients, it will be like a cold call. How can I first approach them to get a phone/video call by email, or possibly by phone, in order to assure them that I just want to know what they want for their business?
Sorry it's long, but I 'm just thinking of the best approach for this. I don't mind trying to reach out to a lot of clients, but I also don't want to waste my time if I'm not setting up the calls right.
