Etsy Ads - Mark All Listings or Just a Few?

Good morning and Happy Weekend! I have a question about Etsy Ads. When you use Etsy ads, do you "turn them on" for all your listings? Or do you turn it on for a few?

I'll be honest. I never noticed there was a Promote with Ads button before, so I'm assuming I just had it on for all. Now, I am wondering if that is the right strategy.
