How to Stand Out on Etsy for MORE Sales
Almost daily I get emailed a certain question and that is..."I want to join your Design Club, but am worried that I'll just fall into a hole where everyone is designing the same thing...how do I get around this?" Since I was getting asked this often, I added it to my FAQ page, but here are my thoughts and reasoning: 🤔 The trending product ideas, technically everyone has access to the same info...whether you choose to use a tool like Erank, Everbee, Alura, Marmalead, EHunt, Insight Factory, etc. or if using something organic like Google Trends, Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram, etc. like I teach. ✔️ In the feedback I've gotten over the past two years, it's that individuals either don't have time to research or get overwhelmed by the various platforms to utilize and they don't know how to structure prompts in styles that ACTUALLY sell. My Design Club solves the overwhelm factor of research with curated daily products and base prompts. 🎨 As mentioned in a few of the videos I've added in there, the difference comes in where you either change a subject, color palette, or cross-niche with a different theme, etc. Plus, as with any AI software, the output will never be the exactly the same with each input. Unless using a custom tool. Now, will some individuals just add the product/prompt as is to Etsy, yes, but as most should understand, doing this and not incorporating even a different color palette or sub-subject or cross niche will not lead to an increase in sales. The point of being on the front-end of something trending is that, it's trending, number one, so you'll have an advantage and even more of an advantage if you be UNIQUE and add your creativity to the design. In addition to the daily products and prompts, so many trainings have been added to help you along the way!⬇️⬇️ 🖼️ AI Clipart Mastery for Profit 🖌️Color & Pop Culture Design Workshop 📒Junk Journal Design Mastery 🥤40oz Tumbler Design Series 🔨The Etsy Digital Product Success Toolkit ...plus a lot more :)

How to Mock it up
Does anyone have any advice on what's the best tool or best ways to do mockups? this is where I struggle as a newbie

Honestly, the easiest way is to get MyDesigns and use the public mockups and add custom PSD files. You can buy PSD mockups on Etsy, but there are a few free assets out there as well, depending in the sublimation product you're making your designs for. Once you've uploaded them into MyDesigns, every listing is a few clicks away from looking perfect.
POD Prompt: Christmas Reading Raccoons
Prompt: Hand drawn watercolor three raccoons in a row, each reading a book and wrapped in Christmas lights. The first raccoon, on the left, wears glasses and a a glass of red wine. The middle raccoon has a red bow on its head and is also reading a green book. The last raccoon, on the right, next to a candle. They are all seated on a white background and is playful take on the idea of raccoons being book lovers at Christmas time. Images in order (Dalle3, Ideogram, Kittl, MJ)

Beware Kittl Users Soon Canceling
Hi there, I'm on the KittlDesign group on Reddit and someone said that they reached out to the company about downloading their image generations after canceling their subscription and Kittl said that you can do that, but that all images will have a watermark on them. I'm not sure if it's true, but I for one am making sure I'm getting all my images out of there before my subscription ends. Hope this helps!

@Janet Bullard maybe, but it seems a little unfair. With the current pricing system, you're allowed to use 30 credits per day, so you're paying for those images. Also, you can download the images as they are (without upscaling them) and later on upscale them in some other program (I'm doing that with MyDesigns). I hate how slow Kittl is sometimes, and if it weren't for me wanting to use up all my credits, I'd just abandon it entirely now, lol. But yeah, the watermark seems unfair if you basically paid for those images through the subscription.

@Amanda Burke well you can still create it with Canva, but it will have a watermark on it. It's ok, I just can't wait to get rid of Kittl, I am sick and tired of the way they treat their customers and how poorly they've reacted to the negative feedback they received about the new credits system, too...
Etsy Fees
Are there processing fees for digital products?

Yep. I'll give you a bit of a list of what is charged when someone buys something from me: Tax: processing fee Tax: transaction fee Regulatory operating fee 1.15% of the order total (excluding taxes) Transaction fee 6.5% of order total Processing fee 3% of order total plus $0.25 Tax auto-renew Listing fee $0.20 Tax listing fee So depending on where you're living, it can boil down to quite a bit. The 6.5% is for orders like my case, I am in Canada but in this instance the product was sold to a US customer.

@Sonya M yep, it's not cheap... I think the only perk with the digital is that there's no shipping and you don't have to worry about physical products. Other than that, it's only lucrative if you have at least a dozen sales per day, I think.
