The agency was not able to generate the guaranteed number of quality leads and appointments so they reached out to me for running ads. Upon auditing the ad account, I found out they were blindly running ads without testing of creative and ad copies. Upon taking over the account, I made 2 versions of 3 different creatives and 2 versions of ad copies, with a 50% off offer.
𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: We focused on testing only the creatives and ad copies with a broad audience.
𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀: We tested 6 creatives in 2 different ad sets targeting a broad audience. Out of these 6 creatives, only 2 creatives performed well and we had to turn off the other 4 creatives as they were consuming budget but producing no results.
𝗔𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆: We tested 2 versions of ad copy having different structures. Only 1 ad copy came out as the winning one.
Audience: We didn’t test different audiences since we used a broad audience, which performed as expected. Facebook's AI has become so strong that detailed targeting is becoming outdated.
𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄-𝘂𝗽 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺: We have a strong follow-up system on the backend, which I believe contributed the most to our results. We typically call leads within 10 minutes as a new lead comes in. A strong follow-up system guarantees a high number of appointments.
If you're not getting the results you promised your clients, focus on improving your creatives, ad copy, and follow-up system. I guarantee you'll get the best results.
