Hi all I'm Zeb. I've been playing guitar for 19 almost 20 years, my grandma gave me my first guitar back in 2005. A classical guitar, takamine c-128 i also have her personal guitar Yamaha g235 ii which was gifted to her at the veterans home where she taught music at for 20+ years. I've played my takamine at the grand canyon and took it camping, it was what I practiced on for years as my main guitar learning led Zeppelin and acdc, among various favorite riffs or solos. I only recently tried to learn the second solo in led Zeppelins heartbreaker. It's definitely a doozy. I would say I'd love to be able to play more of led Zeppelins acoustic repertoire, bron yr aur, the rain song, white summer black mountain side ( black waterside berry jansch, that's the way etc. being able to incorporate fingerstyle blues improv into acoustic covers and expanding my own vocabulary. Being able to play/ practice Robert Johnson among other ragtime tunes without feeling intimidated. Doc Watson is definitely an inspiration as is Tommy Emmanuel. At this point in time I would not be confident practicing any of Tommy's tunes they're just on a whole nother level but being able to learn classical gas it guitar boogie in general would be amazing. Maybe some bluegrass tunes like BlackBerry blossom or whatever it's called. I definitely want to feel confident to be able to either jam in a group and not feel drowned out or just jamming for myself and not feeling lost or overwhelmed. Or being distracted by/ falling into comfortable/ familiar habits and tunes. I absolutely want to challenge myself so I can grow as a player. I look forward to getting to know people in this community.
