Classroom
I've been going thru the classroom videos to help learn to use fusion 360 and while there's a big learning curve for this old man, I'm learning a bit. Using Fusion 360 appears to be easy at first. But, that is until you get moving along with it. I keep having to go back and forth several times on certain steps but eventually, I am getting it. I'm sure that I'm not alone when it comes too not undedrstanding certain steps until I've watched them several times. My hats off to Brandon Santana for putting together such a great resource. Thank you sir and thank you as well for letting me join up.

I had to rewind and start over a bunch too, don’t let that discourage you. It’s good that it’s a video that can be rewound and rewatched. I agree, Brandon really did a great job.
Bambu Labs printers?
How many members here have a Bambu Labs 3D printer? Which one do you have, or which ones if you have multiples? I recently got into 3D printing and love it. I purchased the A1 but before I even received the printer wished i had ordered the combo. But, I was trying to save money on my first. And, now it has me thinking about ordering the P1S combo as my next unit. What are everyones thoughts on both of these units?

X1 Carbons x3….i love them, that’s why i bought an additional 2 during their sale. I like the additional features over the P1S, because I wanted to make it a business. The P1S is a great machine too if you were looking at it as a hobby machine. You can’t go wrong either way.
Finished the 3D modeling course..!!!!! 🎉
Finally had the time this morning to finish the course. Can wait to start trying to design my ideas in Fusion360. Thank you Brandon for the informative class and the relaxed learning environment. I recommend anyone that doesnt know Fusion jump in now, you will be so happy.!

Prusa Releasing A New Printer 👀
Here are some of the features for this machine - Fully Enclosed Design: The printer features a fully enclosed build chamber, which helps maintain consistent temperatures, ensuring high-quality prints with minimal warping, especially for high-temperature materials like ABS, ASA, and polycarbonate. - CoreXY Motion System: It utilizes the CoreXY motion system, which allows for fast and precise movement, offering improved print quality and efficiency over traditional Cartesian systems. - Active Temperature Control: Equipped with an advanced temperature control system, the printer can actively manage and maintain optimal conditions inside the enclosure, preventing temperature fluctuations that can negatively affect the print. - Heated Print Bed: The heated bed helps with adhesion, reducing the chances of print failures, particularly when working with challenging filament types. - Automatic Calibration: The Prusa Core P1 comes with automatic bed leveling and calibration features, simplifying setup and maintenance for users. - Easy Assembly: The printer comes partially assembled to simplify the setup process, so users can start printing faster. - Open Filament Compatibility: While designed for high-quality results with Prusa filaments, the printer supports a wide range of third-party filaments, offering flexibility in material choice. - Durability & Reliability: Built with high-quality components for durability and long-term reliability, designed to be a professional-grade solution for a wide range of users, from hobbyists to businesses. Price is estimated to be about $450 USD and will release march 2025. What do you guys think? Will you be buying this? 🤔

Looks promising….id have to do a bit more research before I’m totally committed. I like how you don’t have to connect it to a network for updates…Does it say anywhere how big is the print bed is?

Looks Awesome!! I need to learn more resin printing skills. Filament printing seems so much easier…there’s so many things to consider with resins.
