Count me in.
Productizing Services
Is productizing your services a priority for the other fractionals here? If so, what has been your biggest challenge in the process?

@Cosmin Gabriel Love your doc! I have case studies but I need to create this type of pitch/ offering document.
Introduction from Dallas, TX
I am an experienced product, operations, and digital transformation leader adept at developing a vision, defining strategy, building teams, and executing roadmaps. With an MBA, PMP and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certifications, I have extensive program and change management experience as well as demonstrated success at managing large scale transformations across sales, strategy, operations, product, technology, and supply chain. Throughout my career, I have worked with leaders in their industries in the US and UK: • CPG: Procter & Gamble, Kimberly Clark, and SC Johnson • Retail: Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s, Coach, Dixons, and GAME • Financial Services: Capital One, JPMorgan Chase, and Lloyds TSB I have worked as an interim and fractional resource a few times throughout my career in both the UK and US. The types of roles that fit me best are (though I'm always open to discussing others): 1) A transformation leader role at a mid-to-large cap company providing physical and digital products. Industry agnostic though CPG and manufacturing based companies are the best fit. 2) A role with a PE Firm's Portfolio Operations Team focused on performance improvement in the Strategy, Operations, Supply Chain, and/ or Product Management areas. I'm based in Dallas, TX, but am happy to travel anywhere as needed.

Added. Thanks!
BIG Question... Who is billing hourly?
Please don't do that. That's a terrible way to run your fractional business. You are reducing yourself to being treated like an hourly employee who gets micro managed over every second of time and dollar charged. Your expertise has value and being the seasoned professional that you are, you are capable of getting more done faster than anyone junior, so why punish yourself for being efficient? Think in terms of project fees and charging for outcomes, not time. It costs $x to achieve y-outcome. It will take approximately 6 months to achieve this. Payment is due in advance. Break payments up into 2 or 3 chunks over several weeks. Get paid for your work first. Consider combining a pay for performance arrangement with your project fee. It creates trust. NEVER use retainers or charge for blocks of time. If the business owner knows that your services will cost them 10K per month, then they can budget for that. If the rate is always changing and you have to keep track of and justify your time, then you will end up with a major headache.

This makes complete sense from our POV. Unfortunately, not all clients truly understand the fractional approach and benefits. What have you found works well in educating clients to this approach?
