Hypothetically, what's to stop someone who purposely sounds like an artist they admire from combining bits of their voice with AI voice bits from said artist? Now you have a song with 2 different people who sound very similar if not the same.

I’m not seeing to many up and coming artist with websites in their social media bios. It’s usually a link to Youtube/Spotify, ect. How soon should we have a website of our own? At the beginning when you’re building a Fanbase or should you wait until You start to establish yourself?

I have the opportunity to sign a distribution deal for a mixtape. In an interview with a rapper, I heard that he signed a distribution deal (80/20) without an advance for just his first mixtape and ended up making over a million dollars from this in a few months. Do y'all know if it is common to sign a distribution deal without getting an advance and what would be the benefits of this compared to getting one?
