Hey Sid and team, here is my attempt on this question. Great challenge, btw! Please let me know your feedback, how to approach this better, tips for finding effective user segments for these questions types. Starting with Uber’s mission - Reimagining the way the world moves User segment who’d use Ambulance and their needs 1. Critical patients - Should be available as quickly as possible, vehicle with medical equipment  2. Caregivers for Elderly patients  - Great service, Wheelchair accessibility, Easy booking system  3. Hospitals and Clinics - Professional assistance, great service I’d pick Elderly patients as the segment I want to focus on because the tech challenges in building for other 2 segments are high. Example: building for real-time response and ensuring medical equipment availability may be tricky. The life-saving speed may not be achievable for a new player and it’s high-risk. Hospitals might have exitsing partnership with 3rd party fleet and the competition is fierce. If we are choosing second option, this is low-risk, no to lesser life or death scenarios, less critical. Also, this has growing business potential due to aging demographics and immediate healthcare needs Customer journey 1. Scheduling an appointment for routine checkup/medical procedure   2. Logistics - collecting required medical documents, reports, samples  3. During the trip - Comfortable transport, traffic-less route, required medical devices should be available, paramedic options can be provided  4. Post trip experience - Easy to understand billing, Uber pass options for regular riders  I will prioritize 1st and 3rd steps here to focus based on 1. Uber’s ability to impact, 2) Existing platform, 3)Implementation challenges Expanding on step 1 - What are the challenges that might occur with scheduling an appointment and how Uber can solve for them 1. Patients would like to book rides in advance - Scheduled rides  2. Patients might want their caregivers to accompany them - Family options feature where a caregiver can travel with the patient  3. Patients might forget their trip - Send frequent reminders about the ride to both patients and caregivers  4. Cancel/reschedule trip - Flexible rescheduling without hefty charges  5. Might not be comfortable with mobile app - Ensure UI is highly accessible, offer large fonts, multiple language support, booking via SMS, phone call etc

Thanks Sid. I'd say it's a mix of both. The focus is bit more on the platform/tech decisions but similar to any other product, we are in constant touch with the customers/businesses using the APIs to understand the gap, learn from it and iterate/improve the product.
