Just use Wise Business, and no real bank account if rejected by Mercury?
Hi all. I come from Europe and I'm a former student in US so I do have a SSN, which makes life slightly easier to open an LLC. I was just about to open a close multimember LLC in WY. However, after watching all JB videos on banks and address issues, I'm not sure what to do. I do have friends whose addresses I could use, but none of them is in WY. I'm thinking of just opening the LLC, and trying my luck with Mercury. If not, a Wise Business Account alone would be enough for me to receive payments from Europe. I don't see why a bank account would be needed. My plan is to just divert that money from wise account to investments (crypto and stocks). Anyone with similar issues?

@Adrian K I do have a personal wise account for USD and other currencies. I don't live in any of the prohibited countries, so I will probably be able to open the business USD account once I form the LLC. But I really don't even need a USD Wise Business Account, since payments can be done in Euros (my clients are in Europe). Thanks for the heads-up. Was gonna use Kraken, but just checked and you're correct - Wise won't work for transfer to Kraken 😞

@Paola Moreno thanks for the reply Paola! My worry is not the address for the LLC, that's easy - just use the registered agent address. I feel like you're mixing 2 things. One is a personal bank account - I could hustle through and get some utility bill on my name at my friend's house in Texas. That will get me a personal bank account. Which I don't really need. The other thing is a business bank account for my future LLC registered in WY. How can my WY LLC get a bank account, not myself personally?
