1. How can we effectively narrow our audience targeting for dark ads to ensure we’re reaching locals and people likely to attend events, without excluding potential new customers? 2. What are the key differences between boosting posts and running dark ads through Meta Business Suite, and how do we decide which is better for specific goals like ticket sales or brand awareness? 3. What are the key differences between boosting posts and running dark ads through Meta Business Suite, and how do we decide which is better for specific goals like ticket sales or brand awareness? (dark ads are what i call ads that arent just boosted posts [not sure on the real name])

Intro
Hi all, I’m Toby and i currently run a fairly new student events business within loughborough. Its mainly house music which we focus on and i’m hoping to improve my reach to students and learn to create content that can make us stand out from the fairly diluted market that we’re in.

1. Conversion Rate in Relevance to Views, Likes, and Sales - We’re facing challenges in turning our content reach into actionable results. While we’re getting views, the transition from engagement (likes, shares) to actual ticket sales or event sign-ups seems to fall short. Understanding how to optimise this funnel and create a seamless path from awareness to conversion is something we’d love to improve. 2. Community Engagement: Feedback, Comments, and Shares - Encouraging consistent and meaningful interaction with our audience is another key area we’re struggling with. While we aim to create engaging content, we often find it difficult to spark genuine feedback, comments, or reposts. Building a strong, interactive community around our events is crucial, but we’re unsure how to strengthen these connections effectively. 3. Breaking Into the Student Audience and Establishing Trust - Reaching and resonating with students has been a significant challenge. This demographic can be selective and often gravitates towards what’s familiar within their social circles. Establishing our events as credible and appealing to students while overcoming this initial resistance to change is something we’re looking to navigate better.
