After seeing how impactful custom instructions are for me, I wanted to create some for some of my novel's characters. Here is the template I'm using in //Magical now. Does anyone have some thing similar they've used? I might go back and watch the custom instructions video to see if I can improve it...or maybe I'll ask LoBot for feedback! I'm crafting dialogue for [Character Name], a [Age]-year-old [Occupation] with a background in [Background/Location]. They carry the philosophy that [Core Belief or Philosophy], which is deeply rooted in [Reason for Belief]. Known for their [Distinct Voice Feature] way of speaking, they often express themselves through [Speech Patterns/Quirks], reflecting their [Key Personality Trait]. I discovered Suno.ai over the weekend and OH MY GOD!!! It will produce songs for you in like 30 seconds, and they're actually good!!! Check out these that I got when prompting it for a chill folk song about creatives with adhd! But then I had it make it in different genres but it keeps the same lyrics. Truly mindblowing!!! I'm really curious who all is using Claude 3 or Gemini more than ChatGPT these days. I know Claude 3 was said to "outperformed" ChatGPT in all the "benchmarks" however I'm still a die hard GPTer but I do wonder if I need to spend more time playing with Claude to see what the fuss is about. Everytime I've tried I feel like I'm unimpressed by comparison, but maybe for other things it is better? Or for people that haven't customized their ChatGPT with custom instructions? I also don't love that both Claude and Gemini still don't have internet access so I feel like that's a pretty big downside but maybe I'm overthinking it? And meta is planning to launch Llama 3 next week, so we'll have even more competition in the market! I'd just love to know what your go-to LLM is and why! 👇
