Hi everyone, I'm T. LaDonna I’ve been walking the path toward living in my authentic self. Right now, I’m caught in limbo stuck between my old job and the work that aligns with my true self, which, as of now, isn’t bringing in any income. I keep receiving confirmations and magnetic pulls urging me to dive into my passion work. However, my current job provides the financial security I need, despite having lost all desire to perform even the most basic tasks. My guides have started messaging me more frequently to focus on manifestation. It’s a challenging space to be in, with so much of my old self still needing to shed externally while internally my true self can clearly see the path I am meant to be on. Right now, I’m focused on mediating, grounding work and energy balancing, trying to stay centered, and in gratitude. Thanks for reading and I'm happy to meet each of you! 💚

Can you share your current morning routines, including any mindset work that you do in the morning? No judgements — I want to get a sense of where you’re at. 🫶🏽

Hi! Sorry this may be lengthy... My mornings used to be a source of deep depression. I’d wake up and immediately slip into anxiety or rush mode for the day. Over the past year, I’ve discovered that I’m a ritual person and have been incorporating somatic practices into my life. I’ve become very intentional about how I start my day. I naturally wake up before my alarms and make a point not to go back to sleep. I check in with my body and avoid letting my mind spiral into a trail of thoughts. I immediately play my nature sound music, get up to start my tea, and shower while listening a gratitude affirmations video (which also helps time my showers to exactly 7 minutes). After that, I make my tea, wake up my son, make my bed, and take my time with my body care routine. I walk outside to my terrace, take a few deep breaths, then head back inside to check on my son and make his breakfast. I get dressed, fill my water canister, and tidy up the kitchen and my room a bit, which helps calm me. I avoid checking emails or getting lost in apps. I only open texts from my adult children if I see an alert. My phone is used solely for playing sound baths and affirmation videos. If we’re running a bit late, I avoid rushing. Time becomes irrelevant; what matters is that my morning is intentional and centered. Even if things don’t go exactly as planned, like if I wake up late, I maintain a steady pace, staying grounded and secure in my body.
