Outdoor vs Indoor
I’ve been practicing outside at tennis courts. Many of my skate friends are encouraging me to try the rink but I’m terrified. The slippery floor, the amount of people weaving in & out, the fear of trying a new move in front of people 😭 for me, outside is peaceful. As it’s getting colder, I will have no choice but to go inside. Any tips to overcome the fear lol also what wheels are best for indoor? I currently use Radar Wheels - 78A 31mm x 57mm

What do you wear!?
Curious.... what kind of skates everyone has!? I just got into skating a few months ago and got a pair of Roller Derby skates at our local sporting goods shop. I didn't want to spend alot on starter skates because I have a habit of deciding to learn something new and not following through. I fell in love. Upgraded to Sure--Grip Fame wheels and now am impatiently waiting for my size to come back in-stock of the VNLA Luna skates.

Hey everyone! I’m TaMia from North Carolina! I’m 25, born and raised in New York and there, would rollerblade often. After a 10+ year hiatus, I decided to pick up roller skating May of 2024. Sometimes I feel as if I’m plateauing but those progression videos surely give encouragement! I’m looking to learn and improve everything! Can’t wait to start looking like butter 🧈👏🏾
