DON'T DELAY BUILDING A TEAM π§
I just wanted to take a moment to share a realisation I had over the weekend after spending 9 hours in the emergency room. Most 'solopreneurs' are running everything by themselves. Making the sales, creating the content, running the fulfilment and even dealing with clients. You essentially buy yourself a 15-hour-a-day job with no sense of security... This isn't bad, especially at the start when it's all you can do but what I've seen time and time again is agency owners who are making anywhere from Β£5k - $40k a month and are still killing themselves every week because they think it's too soon to start building a team. Even a $3 /hr VA will be a game changer in the way you manage your time as a CEO rather than a day-to-day operator within your agency The reason I had this specific realisation during the weekend is because on Friday I spent the day in the emergency room and instead of being worried about client messages, delayed work or chargebacks I was able to focus on my health BECAUSE OF MY TEAM. Don't get me wrong we are still in the early stages so we don't have 40+ different team members around the world but so far I've been able to build a team of specialists who can replace me in specific areas like customer success, automation building, internal platform creation etc.... Hopefully, you see this as a message to take time out of your week (IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO) and invest some of your MRR in hard-working team members because trust me you won't know how much of a difference it can really make!
