memorizing key length and hash value length
Is it required to memorize the key length for cipher algorithms (at least the ones from the official book) and hash value lengths? Is anyone doing this?

@Deepu Thomas good summary in one place. Helpful. But I was wondering if any one had any strategies around learning key length. If they are learning every key length or anything in particular. How do they memorize the key lengths -any strategies?
Cipher modes
I was studying the cipher modes today. Here is what I learnt; CBC-MAC is mainly used for integrity, authenticity; CCM,GCM provides authenticity, integrity and confidentiality; CTR, CFB,OFB, CBC,ECB provides confidentiality.

Hi
Hi, I joined this study group today. Glad to be part of this group. I have been working as an IT Architect, currently taking a break from work. I want to enter back into work field with a new role using the help of CISSP. Aiming to take this cert around Dec, 2024. Have been preparing for this cert for the past one month. Looking forward to learn with you all.
