Hello fellow marketers! I’ve been so focused on client work that I’ve neglected growing the SEO side of my own business. Now that I’m diving back in, I’m noticing a lot of resistance to SEO services—particularly Local SEO. I’m targeting service-based businesses (like electricians and plumbers), but despite highlighting the benefits of ranking higher in local searches and attracting nearby customers, I’m struggling to get traction (and struggling to get time in with these busy businesses!). Have you experienced this resistance, and if so, how did you overcome it? Do you have any strategies for getting clients through the door and helping them see the value of Local SEO? Put more than 5 seconds of effort into your actual post content. Tell people what you want help with, or share your wins, learnings, struggles, etc. 4. Try to keep it within the realm of SEO and AI. That's what this group is all about. Let's keep it on-brand! 5. Don't be a salesy jerk. If you are constantly trying to get people to book a meeting with you or buy your thing, you'll get banned fast. Look at how much stuff I've given away for free in this group. You are welcome to connect "offline" but this group is for acquiring SEO knowledge and building AI skills, not for selling stuff.
