If anyone is down to meet in Da Nang for a beer or coffee, let me know 😀. I’m 24 and I recently quit my job in Texas last month because I’ve built online income ventures that pay me well and wanted to get out of America. Looking to meet and network with others in Vietnam. Planning on living in da nang full time, unless I fall in love with another city during my exploring

Also planning to move full time soon!
Any Content Creators in VN?
Any Content Creators who are already in VN or looking to move there to set up and work from VN on building their brands and social media full time? Looking to connect with like minded people and network with people who do that

Bank Account in Vietnam
I wanted to start a new thread on this topic. It seems there's a lot of concern about opening a bank account here and whether getting a bank card is possible or not. (not possible on tourist visa) I feel kind of silly for forgetting to mention this, but 99% of transactions are made using a QR code with your bank app. Even the smallest local restaurants and vendors at the local market accept payment by QR code. You could pay for a piece of fruit up to your entire rent with QR code. Therefor, a bank card is not at all necessary. It seems the best option for most people will be to have a WISE account, and transfer money cheaply from your home bank account to the VN account. You would have to withdraw a small amount of cash in person from the bank but this would last a long time if you mostly pay by QR code. TIMO is the easiest bank to open an account with. I have a VN bank card and I can't remember the last time I used it. It's in a drawer somewhere 😂 Hope this clears things up for some people 👍

I don't have access to wise. I have payoneer, has anyone used that in VN? If that doesn't work i was thinking of just bringing cash with me for a few months stay.
