No Mindset Mastery Sessions for the Next 2 Weeks...
Hey ChangeMakers! Iโ€™ve got to hold my hands upโ€”I missed this morningโ€™s session. Yep, I slept right through the alarm. That's definitely not like me, but it's a wake-up call (pun totally intended) that I've been pushing a bit too hard. As some of you know, Iโ€™m right in the middle of a massive house moveโ€”over 300 miles north. Add in a chronic stress-related illness (courtesy of my former job) that can knock my energy levels down, and yeah, the overload finally caught up with me. I tried to keep things running without interruption, but reality check: I need to hit pause on live calls for a couple of weeks. I will also need to re-evaluate the timing for Saturday calls to ensure I can commit to them for the long-term. For those of you who don't know, the Saturday calls are at 6am my time to accommodate our friends in India - sorry to be letting you down, especially @Ragul Ov and @Hemanth Kumar Alwar. Once Iโ€™m settled into the new place and back on my game, weโ€™ll be full throttle again. Please continue to make new members feel welcome. I will be posting as much as I can during this challenging time. Thanks for rolling with me on thisโ€”your support means everything. Weโ€™re coming back stronger, so stay tuned! The Secret Weapon for Body Confidence No One Talks About!
For years, I thought exercise was only for losing weight.ย ๐Ÿค” I believed if I could learn to drop the lbs without it, Iโ€™d never have to think about it again. And in 2021, I did just thatโ€”losing 100 lbs without working out once!ย I felt proud, like I had found the secret to health without needing exercise. ๐Ÿคฉ But hereโ€™s what I didnโ€™t see: I was missing out on something much bigger. Exercise isnโ€™t just about burning calories or slimming down. When I finally started moving my body again this year, I realised it was about feeling strong, confident, and in control. I wasnโ€™t just changing how I lookedโ€”I was changing how I felt.ย ๐Ÿ”ฅ Exercise gave me a deeper connection to myself, and I started to see that movement is about so much more than weight loss. Itโ€™s about building a confidence that sticks with you, no matter what the scale says. Every step, every stretch, every time I showed up for myself, I felt more powerful. I learned that exercise isnโ€™t punishmentโ€”itโ€™s a way to show my body some love. And hereโ€™s the cool part: it doesnโ€™t have to be hard or take hours. Whether itโ€™s a quick walk, a stretch break, or trying out a new class, it all counts. The key is to find what works for you and fits into your life. So if, like me, youโ€™ve thought exercise was just for losing weight, I invite you to see it differently. The real win isnโ€™t just in how you lookโ€”itโ€™s in how you feel. And when you feel good in your body, thatโ€™s when true body confidence kicks in. ๐Ÿฅณ Let me know in the comments: do you exercise regularly? @Christine Szinner There will be one period of 15-30 minutes session for us a week for yoga in our school. When I do that I just liked it, knows nothing more back then. And then in my next school I learnt some more yoga poses that poses make me felt good. Then I joined in handball and came to know the importance of warm up stretches and cool down. And then left the sport because of less participation due to health. Then there was a phase I don't even thought about exercise for around 3years. And then during the COVID period I gained weight and then one of my uncle and aunt suggest me to do exercise which could shed fat and build muscle. Then I got a friend who has interest in body building he thought me more about muscle building, healthy way of gaining and losing weight. Then I got to know about resistance training through a physiotherapist and with Instagram and YouTube I came to know lot about the types of fat, the difference between losing inch,fat and weight , and various forms of exercise and still learning something I guess. And with doing exercise I am still at a beginner level.
