Do these changes make sense to you?
Hey everyone, here is what I have in mind about how things will develop from the beginning of December 2024. - Platinum and the Gold Membership will merge into one Audio Artist Rise Program. - Everybody who is currently a Platinum member will keep lifetime access as promised! I will always be here for you! - Everybody who is an existing Gold member (and who is signing up until 1st Dec 2024 for the Gold Membership) will get the opportunity to change your membership to lifetime status. Basically we will deduct the monthly fees from the final price of $3000. - The price FOR NEW MEMBERS will increase from $149 to $199 /month. There will also be an annual membership price plan available ($1990 /year) - The live call slots on Tuesday will be opened up for Gold members to four instead of two calls. - The livecall archive would open up for everyone. - No more lifetime membership option. - I am considering a 7 Day free trial at some point. - At a later stage, and depending on how quickly the Audio Artist Rise Program is growing, the price will finally increase to $249 /month or $2490 /year. Then, all six live calls slots will be available to everyone. Got questions, feedback, suggestions? I am listening 🤗 If you lock in NOW and before the end of December 2024, the current price of $149 /month and the lifetime option will stay and will NOT change. In fact, no price you got into the program will ever change. It is only and always only for new members. Interested in finally turning your passion into a thriving career? Much like Geoffrey, that would be unaffordable for me too.

@Alex Pfeffer Sure, but the problem is not all of us have that much disposable income. We've all been in a cost of living crisis for the last couple of years and money is tight. I could maybe afford $149 in the near future but not every month, especially for an ongoing subscription. This is ten times more than the average TV subscription which is already asking a lot. If you had a rent-to-own model at a lower monthly price where we could pay towards it when we're financially able and not have to start from scratch again, that would be ideal. Otherwise you're just pricing people who would otherwise give you money out of our goals.

Here's a trailer track I recently finished. What does it need to be submission-ready? https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/e2u6io9cng51wksy33oro/Simon-Turner-Reverence.mp3?rlkey=mhaitwzo8t2e4dl58762tq3z0&st=so30xkgl&dl=0

@Alex Pfeffer Hi Alex, where is this distortion and pumping please? I'm listening back to it now and don't hear it. Agree to disagree on the melody and horns, if I criticise this melody for anything it's for building on an A theme the entire time (I haven't specifically seen anyone saying that trailer music can't do that but I am conscious of doing it a lot), I also checked and the MIDI does have breath gaps written into it. I did the 'check the breathing by singing the line' trick and the breath lengths felt natural to me. I can appreciate they may get lost in a cacophony of sound though. The little outro is there for the end of the trailer where you usually get the black screen and movie title/release date. I assumed trailer editors would want the option of a coda rather than silence but perhaps I'm wrong on that? I use a lot of Audiomachine tracks for reference and they seem to do it a lot. Thanks!

@Yann Machurey fear of failure and also fear of success (ironically)
Submitting music to companies
Hi all, just wanted to know your views on what to do when companies ask you submit download/streaming links for them to assess your music. Are they looking for something like Reelcrafter or is sending them a private Youtube/Dropbox/etc. link acceptable?

Collecting Feedback for "Mockup Craft"
Hey beautiful artists! I am collecting feedback for my new course that goes under the name "Mockup Craft" If you have a few seconds, I would love to know about what topics you would like to have covered. Some of you already provided me with some valuable feedback but I just want to make sure to cover as much stuff as possible that YOU want and need, rather than me releasing some course I think serves you well. So, to sum it up again. My goal is to build a huge course that covers everything about: - DAW (preparing a session, templates, shortcuts, other essentials) - MIDI (CC, Velocity, etc.) - Sample Libs - Ideas & Inspiration - Mixing & Mastering - Writing a track (Starting, Finalizing, Workflow) What else would you like to see? Just let it flow! :) When will this course be released? Mockup Craft has already been released as an early access course. Meaning, as a gift to join early, you get it a lot cheaper than the final price. In return, content will be available over a period of the next few weeks. PLUS, if you have feedback about what you are missing, I can react and record and optimize new videos. Audio Artist Rise Program Members will get it for free. The early access price is 49 USD. Final price will definitely be above 249/299 USD because I am aiming to create my biggest course covering everything you need to write compelling and solid music.

What level will this course be aimed at? Beginner, intermediate or advanced?

@Alex Pfeffer so probably not suitable for people who have been doing this for a while and generally know what they're doing?
