Hi! I'm Shirley-Louise and I live in a hamlet in East Surrey, UK, called Crowhurst (not the one where the Battle of Hastings is said to have taken place - that's East Sussex)! I love to unwind by cuddling my cat, writing historical romance novels (especially if I've been working late - helps me divert my brain into fantasy land), dancing to David Bowie or formulating organic skin care! I'm a procrastinator who has imposter syndrome! I know I should just get it done, imperfectly, but I just have to have it right (ex-college/Uni lecturer) and although I've been in my industry for over 49 years (with 30 in the classroom as well) I still have the dread of being in front of a camera (put me in front of a classroom and I'm well away), plus this dread of not being the expert! 🤷 To get past these pains and have a successful online training presence and making lots of money to enjoy my semi-retirement (I think I'd get bored if I fully retire, because I'm only 68 - far too young to retire)! 😉
