@Adrian Schwengebecher Laperal .. I did some updates on the track, I think the micro arrangement could still be better .. but one step at a time 😉 Link hasn't changed
NI Maschine Workflow Question
So, I know everyone is Ableton, but maybe you can help me with a general question on the mix. I use Maschine for production and arrangement. I devided my sounds into groups (Kick+sub / Percussion / LeadSynth / Pads / Atmo / ...) most of the time my sound is muddy because of overlapping frequency ranges, so I need to use an EQ. I normaly then export the groups as stems to Reaper and use iZotope Neutron 3 Standard on each group. Would it be better to set Neutron direclty into each Maschine group befor exporting so that I get a more "What you hear is what you get"? ATM I have the feeling that I tend to work too much on each sound because it sounds muddy and miss the overall image.

Or maybe better said: Where would you see a plugin like Neutron 3, directly integrated into the producing workflow, or later on in the Mixdown and finetune workflow?

@Adrian Schwengebecher Laperal thanks for this Input - I did a little test yesterday and noticed that using the Neutron Plugin in the pruduction-phase is absoluteley irritating to me, because ofc it changes the original sound. Workflow is much faster and more detailed if I tweak my sounds to my liking. So yes, like @Beat Ottiger said "don't touch what doesn't need to be touched" ist the best answer ;)
Content Poll - What are you interested in?
Hey friends, we are wondering: What would you like to be covered in upcoming videos on Weltsound? You know, for each video on YouTube (every Friday!) you, as a part of our Mentorship, exclusively receive additional content such as little Sample Packs, Presets, MIDI Collections, Ableton Templates and more. So, what are you most interested in? It could be a genre, the sound of a specific label/artist, some kind of technique or workflow, ... Let us know in the comments and we'll do our best to make it happen! Please use the "like"- button to upvote comments if you agree as well :) Also, there is some great content coming up for the last weeks of the year - so stay tuned for that! Cheers, Adrian

@Adrian Schwengebecher Laperal .. Discord is much less complicated and has more options, like f.e. a Voicechat. Lots of other Music Production schools and communities use Discord, like Sinee and Underdog. Most of the time you have a public area (wich might also attract more users) with general chat and then a private area for members only. Usermanagement is quit easy too.

@Kurt Harts ohh yes, EQing and Frequency Ranges, I really need that
Track Feedback ≈ "Ancient Eternity"
It's me again - with a smile on my face while listening to my latest track. To me the track sounds like Anyma & Chris Avantgarde are having an LSD trip in an Indian yoga retreat. Smile! I hope you like it and I'm looking forward to your feedback: ≈> https://on.soundcloud.com/i3oa4 Besides general feedback, I'm curious what you guys say about copyright - the construction of a track can't be protected by copyright - or should I expect angry afterlife managers if I publish this? For Weltsound Mentorship users it's easy to see where I got the "inspiration" for this. Thanks again, for afterlife eternity. Also, I hope it's OK for you Adrian to use your steeze. I have made some changes so that it is not simply a 1:1 copy. The production was a lot of fun while learning a lot. Mainly a re-sampling with proper filter automation and tweaking some sounds.
