I would find reviewing all project documentation and artifacts most valuable when taking over an existing project. Because I will be equipped with the knowledge I need to be able to sit in on meetings and understand what is going on. I will be able to speak to what I know and execute accordingly. The 1:1 and meetings will help to fill in any blanks I might have.
