OK so it took a little over a week, but...
Here's a song produced entirely with recordings from a Casio SK-1. Sample sources include wine glasses, a sawblade, a glass vase, and human voice. I tried to use every feature the keyboard has, including the onboard glissando, envelopes, vibrato, and beats. Micro-keys are hard to play.

What are your goals for this week?
Setting goals for writing music is important. Personally, I set a goal to write a song every week. I have done that 45 times over this year, so far. I have done this by setting aside at least an hour for writing music. If I can do that, I know that I'm going to, at the very least, get something written. Will it be perfect? Probably not. Will it be something that I created, something that I made? Absolutely. Will it drive me to create more? I'm sure it will. If you're working to write more music, the best way to get started is to do it. That sounds super simple, but it's more than true. If you think you don't have the skill, you probably do! The important part is allowing yourself to write, experiment, and have some fun. What are your goals for this week in your music?

My goal is to finish a 3-minute track using a Casio SK-1 as my only sound source, with limited pitch-shifting and reverb handled in the DAW.
The weekend is here, will you be working on music?
The weekend is here, will you be working on music? I myself moved in the past week, so my studio is still in pieces. This did not, however, dissuade me from writing my 42nd song of the year, which I produced on my laptop using minimal tools in Ableton Live. You can produce music with nearly no equipment, now. There is no reason to not allow yourself to just sit down and write something, anything. Any small idea, can turn into your next big thing. If you can, give yourself the time this week to write something. It doesn't have to be perfect! Just do the work, something will come of it. Remember, as a One-Week Song Club early adopter, you're getting FREE lifetime access to the course if you share it with two other people who sign up. I very much appreciate everyone joining me on this journey. I think it's going to be awesome. You may share the course with this link: https://www.skool.com/oneweeksongclub/about And please, comment below and tell me what you are working on!

Made some recent additions to the modular synth, and am trying to use it to "compose" melodies generatively/accidentally rather than with keyboard/mouse.
Challenges
I'm curious, what challenges are you finding that keep you from writing music? These can be anything -- mindset, time, focus, inspiration -- all of these contribute. But, it is possible to get past these roadblocks. Tell me what's got you locked-up right now. Let's talk about it!

Mental and environmental fatigue. I work from home, in my studio room. By the time 5:00 rolls around I have already been in my studio room for eight hours and am pretty sick of the computer.
