@Marvens Dorcelian blender is so hard to get into, good luck lol
How long have y'all been editing and what did you start with?
My first editing software was an iPhone app called VizzyWig. Basically all you could do was piece together shots that were already taken. You couldn't make cuts or anything like that. The only fancy feature it had was the premade intros you could insert and the customizable rolling credits. After that I got a really old version of Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 12 which I used for about a year or two. Been using Premiere ever since. That was almost 9 years ago.

YTJobs Is A Joke (Sometimes)
I'm sure a good amount of us have heard of YTJobs. If you haven't, it's a website where YouTubers post to look for Video Editors, Producers, Scriptwriters, Channel Managers, etc. Since I started using it about 6-7 months ago it's honestly been great to show off my work, have trusted reviews from previous content creators and great to share to a client who may not use the site. However, I fear that there are a few flaws with the site which has been rather annoying over the last few months. The moderation. If anyone has ever used the Forum section of the site, you'll know that it's mixed with legit people with interest and people who create fake portfolios and just straight-up spam and ask for a referral on videos they "claim" to have worked on but have no proof. You also have people who have little to no experience on the site. To be honest, this is not a site they should be using. Mainly young people think that just because they can edit with the style of Mr.Beast automatically means they will just get hired in an instant. Hell No. Maybe they should go and use Casting Call Club which while yes the projects over there are a bit more... cringe sometimes. However, it can be a good place to start given you find a project you want to apply for. Also, if you want to edit in the Mr.Beast style, go for it. But I feel that it's very saturated on YouTube at this point. Overall, YTJobs needs to clean up their site and maybe give a damn about moderation for once.

Also full of obvious bot channels for some reason posting jobs, maybe to fill out their site? lol 😅
What is the #1 problem you're facing right now?
It could be... Learning to edit better. Learning to edit faster. Learning to edit for more clients. Which is it?

Finding work has been tough, gotten a few replies and etc but I just get left on read usually. I stay professional with a little bit of a casual nature and have been working on my stuff everyday so far.
