Update - technical issues
Hey guys! Sorry for the radio silence over here - was having some issues getting into the Skool app. Got my labtop fixed, and am up and running now! I’ve been blown away by some of the results you guys have been getting. Truly all of you have done exceptionally well through this short time window here! Remember that we have about 2 more good weeks left - 4th quarter mentality! Theres $300 up for grabs and the grey area here that determines the winner will come from effort level and consistency over this final stretch! πŸ’ͺ Any support you guys need from me - never hesitate to ask away. It’s amazing to see you guys support each other and create that sense of community that helps the next person get through the hard days and stick to their goals! A couple things I look to improve upon in the next few months to add more to the overall experience for the community group: - An integrated exercise database (video how to’s) - Motivation and mindset support - Live Q&As and community video meetings (we will do one of these at the end of the challenge period!) Thank you guys for being you! This was the first go at something like this for me and I appreciate all the feedback to make the experience the best it can be for everyone with the given parameters and value offering. PS: thank you for being patient with the mid challenge updates - not much was to be changed for most of you but I have been extremely busy with 9 clients competing in a show here next Saturday. On top of my PT work - it’s been all hands on deck! Excited to see the final results guys. Keep pushing through! 🫑 Coach Ro

Chicken Seasonings?
Hey all! Just wondering if anyone has any favourite seasonings or low cal sauce that they like to use on their chicken breast? I can eat it plain but it gets a little boring after a while lol. Thanks 😊

I am a huge fan of smoked paprika, and any garlic lovers type seasoning. For chicken I find the perfect oven setting is 375, for 28 mins for one tray. I wait to salt my chicken until after its cooked to retain moisture, and whenever I heat up a chicken meal I always put a little bit of water in the tupperware too! Other great tricks are to use chicken or beef broth, salad dressings like italian dressing, etc along with mixing up condiments like hot sauce, mustards, etc. Love these questions keep them up guys! HALFTIME CHECK IN FORM! πŸ’ͺ
We are halfway through the Recomp challenge and it’s check in time! From a coaching perspective, it’s always important to get feedback and assess progress / if any changes are needed throughout this phase. I want everyone to make the most out of it! This form is a down step from the check ins I typically do with my coaching - but gives you an idea of the important things for us to reflect on throughout each period. Please submit over the weekend and I will be getting back with adjustments and feedback individually starting Monday! Keep crushing it guys and keep a look out for the new split rotating in in the coming weeks! CHECK IN LINK πŸ”— https://coaching.humblefit.co/skool-checkin-and-updates

@Matt Langille correct Matt! Thank you for clarifying. I’ll be sending feedback and adjustments out today guys! Great work and hang tight!
Low on time
Hey guys. I typically do my cardio in the morning fasted. (Ex a little jog to get my brain functioning before work) I try to get my lifts in at lunch. After work my life is hectic so we typically get a walk in before bed or walk to yoga for some steps. What do you do when you are low on time for lifting? Is there a downside to super-setting for the sake of time. Keep in mind I was one of those dreaded CrossFitters so rest time is a new thing for me. What are your suggestions on getting lifts in on a time crunch?

The best thing to remember guys is volume is totally arbitrary! If you’re short on time - focus on the compound movements, take the sets to failure once you’re warmed up, and get a good stimulus. Isolation movements can absolutely be superset when you’re in a rush. Just don’t rush the top end compound movement sets - those are the most important ones to maintain integrity and that pose the highest potential injury risk!
