@Henry Gao This work was done in my attempts to master (or at least get comfortable with) Procreate. I try to use both procreate and morpholio, and I've taken both of your courses on each one, in addition to some other courses. As I mentioned in my first post, I've always had difficulty sharing my work, so I'm trying to throw off those shackles here. I am a big fan of procreate, but I would tend to lean on morpholio for much of my work that is based on design work modeled in sketchup and Revit. Always looking to improve!!

Greetings Caitlin! Overall, I think the style of your drawing has a great artistic feel to it. I'm wondering if heavy saturation of the colors causing some issue for you. I've noticed a lot of illustrator's palettes (see @Henry Gao , or David Drazil) tend to start with more de-saturated color tones applied in layers to build up the effect. If your tree is on it's own layer, I'd be curious to see what would happen if you turned the opacity down to 50% compared to the rest of your illustration. I think this type of adjustment would help move toward the look you're after. I could be wrong on this of course, but I'm hoping to at least spark some ideas that you could try to achieve the look you're after. Great work!

@Michael Ulm very interesting tip! I’m obsessed with the pen tips products, but I too missed the beta on the fuzzy one. Have you tried the one that feels like felt? In your current setup, do you use a screen protector at all?

Yes, they have one that has a felt type texture to it. Its called PenTips Fiber. I believe you can order a sample set which has 3 or 4 different types, including this one... https://pen.tips/products/sample-set Maybe a bit pricey, but I am a fan of their products.
